Divided the Theta channel by one thousand – instead of two hundred, as it was still maxing out.

I was wondering how I’d be able to compile this plugin myself (I would like to modify a few things), what do I need? I can’t seem to compile it with visual studio express…
By the way, this program is amazing! I really like the simplicity of your REM detection algorithm 🙂
Thanks! Download and open the solution from here: https://github.com/lucidcode/LucidScribe-ThinkGear-EEG/archive/master.zip. What happens when you compile it in Visual Studio Express? It should work and then you can copy the DLL to C:\Program Files (x86)\lucidcode\Lucid Scribe\ – be sure to close Lucid Scribe first.
Awesome it works! It seems I was just having some trouble upgrading the project to the 2012 Visual Studio Express. Now it compiles flawlessly 🙂
Oh by the way, is there any possibility of obtaining units for the raw EEG? Such that I can tell the voltages?
Elite. You can find some more details about the units in this thread: https://lucidcode.com/2012/10/23/neurosky-thinkgear-eeg-0-9-6/#comment-120.
I can’t get Lucid Scribe (1.2.2) to start a playlist or play any music by blinking six times. Am I supposed to rely in the blink click for this? I do receive all of the waves using the NeuroSky ThinkGear EEG 0.9.8 plugin.
The blinking is very tricky; if I make it too easy it gives false positives during the night. You can replay the minutes that triggered the audio in this recording to get a feeling for the timing: http://www.lucid-code.com/LSDBase/2012-08-12%20-%20EEG%20Blinks.LSD. . If you blink so that the NeuroSky EEG channel peaks above 800 and then wait for the peak to move over the legend or title for the Meditation channel before blinking again, it should play an audio track after the sixth blink. And make sure that you have the NeuroSky EEG and NeuroSky REM channels enabled.
Thank you. The file worked and triggered a song from the playlist. So does Lucid Scribe only play a single track from the playlist every time REM is entered? Is there anyway to get the playlist to continue or possibly loop without having to end REM and start again?
Cool. You should also be able to get it to play if you can mimic those blinking patterns. 800 is the number is watches for, six times in a row.
There is no way to get the playlist to continue, but I have had many sessions where it plays a few songs in a row, because the REM pattern is not perfect. You could always queue up longer tracks… perhaps a vocal trance set?
thanks for the new EEG! 😉
